The Maths and Applied Sciences Club began its activities with an inaugural seminar on “Cosmic Wonders: From Star Formation to Time Travel” by Prof. Ashish Ashok Koli. The session covered topics such as the life cycle of stars, supernovae, neutron stars, pulsars, black holes, gravitational lensing and relativity. Students also learned about concepts like time dilation, wormholes and the twin paradox. The seminar included an interactive Q&A session and a demonstration of the “Mathminds” AI-based mathematical problem solver developed by fourth-year CSE AIML students.
