The Maths and Applied Sciences Club conducted a members-only session on Multiwavelength Analysis, where students explored how different parts of the electromagnetic spectrum are used to study the universe. Students explained radio waves, microwaves, infrared, visible light, ultraviolet, X-rays and gamma rays using examples from astronomy. Prof. Ninisha Patil and Prof. Gaurang Tawde then added to the discussion with topics including the Doppler Effect, molecular spectra, galaxies, neutrinos, Cherenkov radiation and the James Webb Space Telescope.
