The Maths and Applied Sciences Club organised an overnight stargazing session at Gholvad for first-year engineering students. Students observed the night sky using a 6-inch Newtonian telescope and binoculars, identifying constellations, stars, planets and other celestial objects. Jupiter and its four moons, the Pleiades Cluster and the Andromeda Galaxy were among the observations recorded during the two sessions. The event also included talks on Stellar Evolution and Celestial Tracking, along with an introduction to star maps and basic observation techniques.
